The pink exterior of Homemade Goodies by Roz is more than enough to draw customers to Roz Bratt's Kosher bakery in South 5th Street. Her hobby turned into a profession when as a banker, she sold a Jewish apple cake to a restaurant and today, instead of counting money, she counts cookies!

Once in, you'll get introduced to a world of homemade goodies that taste like they're all made at home. You'll also discover an interior filled with antique kitchen utensils, an assortment of tea pots and old-fashioned tables and chairs.

Consider breakfast items of muffin, scone, bagel or banana, pumpkin or zucchini bread, which when complemented by coffee and a newspaper, are perfect to while away an entire morning. Later in the day you could try an apple cake or twelve deliciously flavored cupcakes, cookies and bars. They are all non-dairy and created to tempt your tastebuds.
