An excellent restaurant with great ambience and friendly and efficient service. For starters, we had scallops in bacon and crab cakes which were light and well-executed. The rib-eye steaks were some of the best we'd ever tasted with excellent side dishes of salt and pepper fries and mixed salad - one portion between two will suffice. The wine list was extensive and our South African merlot/cabernet went beautifully with the Staffordshire sourced steaks. We even had room for puddings as well - Eton mess and cheesecake. It's not cheap but well worth the wait - try and book a month in advance as Hudson's is gaining quite a reputation in Bath ‘foodie’ circles.

Absolutely Bath's best regular dining experience in every single aspect, satisfying your every sense - sight, sound, smell, touch, taste and of course your sense of style. The best aspects of American influence are here - the clarity of both food and drinks menus, the effortless ease of dispensing service, assistance, advice, quality and value. There is absolutely no pretentiousness here; it is an utterly inclusive attitude towards enjoying fine things rather than using them to feel superior. On a date, she'll melt at your sense of style. With family or friends you'll just enjoy the whole experience. For business, you'll impress with nonchalant ease. Arrive and sit at a sofa with drinks while you peruse and discuss the menu with your server. Move upstairs to your table when your order is presented. Finally, relax after at the bar with sumptuous fresh cocktails.
