REVIEWS OF Hunters of Cockfosters
James Herren (19 May 2011)
I went to Hunters for the first time last week and I must say both my partner and I were extremely impressed. Not only were the portions huge but the decor was fantastic, the staff were the most professional waiting staff I have ever come across. I ordered the escargots for starters and the halibut lydia for mains. Both were outstanding. Only I had dessert as my partner was stuffed to the brim. I chose their famous lumpy bumpy cake which is the best dessert I have ever tasted. I asked the manager if he could order me some of these magical cakes. Believe me - they were that nice. I am an extremely fussy eater and a hygiene freak, but this restaurant was flawless. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and must say you would be hard pushed to find a better establishment to dine anywhere in London. Thank you, Hunters for a memorable evening!

What a fantastic restaurant to dine in - I can say that in all my years I have never come across such good food, excellent service, and great decor! I'm already booked in for Christmas day.
