Il Bordello

I have been going there for the past three years. The food is always satisfactory to my family and me. The portions are huge, the service deserves 10 out of 10, and the members of staff are always eager to help and always smiling. I have brought friends here also who are now returning customers. I recommend you try, you will not be dissatisfied. It’s always busy so if possible try booking in advance, but having said that I have popped in on the off chance and they have always managed to squeeze me in. They're great!

My wife and I would like to convey with this letter our high level of satisfaction with Il Bordello, which during the last six months we consider to a certain extent, our second home in London. Given the extraordinary experience that represents eating at Il Bordello, one would believe that it is difficult to decide which specific point should come first when praising how fantastic it is to spend an evening at its premises. However for both my wife and I, the starting point has always been very clear indeed. The most important reason to keep visiting Il Bordello again and again is the exceptional professionalism and the warm welcome that your team keeps, provides every single time we visit them.

Adriano, Carmelo and the rest of the team are excellent professionals that make us feel at home at all times, even making miracles to accommodate us when we have not booked. However it is fair to say that in our opinion and in the opinion of friends and business clients that we have taken to the restaurant, there is one special person and great professional that, with all due respect to a top quality team - rises over everybody else. This excellent human being is, without a shadow of a doubt, Mimi. What to say about Mimi?

Mimi always and consistently:

• Has wise words, a joke or an anecdote to share with us after our long days travelling or at the office

• Makes us feel totally welcome and among friends

• Recommends the best specials of the day, the best wine, the best dishes and even the right amount to order consistently making dinner at “Il Bordello” our best evening out in the whole London.

Due to job reasons, I travel internationally and have the opportunity of enjoying great eating experiences and exceptional service in four corners of the world. However no other establishment so far - even the most reputable five star hotels out there, has come even closer to the experience of eating at Il Bordello.

My wife and I would like to sincerely thank the owner for the great experience the whole team provides and would like to congratulate him for the high quality of the exceptional human beings that make Il Bordello the best food experience in London.
