Unlike regular Indian restaurants that favour using cream and generous lashings of butter in their curries, Indali Lounge is one of the healthier dining destinations in the UK where taste is not compromised, nor is health. The simplicity of the décor is appealing and the tastefully furnished space is welcoming while the glitzy lounge is the perfect place to unwind after a long day.
The à la carte offers interesting options such as crisp soft shell crab garnished with coconut, mustard seeds and curry leaves amongst starters, followed by a grilled spring chicken served with green herbal sauce. The low fat lamb biryani is enticing and some of the delectable desserts include traditional carrot halwa served with ice cream. The business lunch menu offers great value and the cocktails lend a sophisticated air, tantalizing you with a stunning array of choices. Events and parties acquire a special tinge when held at the Indali Lounge, a fact you will not want to ignore if you happen to be the host.

They have excellent décor and waiting staff, but more importantly fantastic light Indian food. We had the banquet which was three whopping courses for £20 each. Thought this excellent value for London on a Saturday night with free wine thrown in and also complementary muligatawny soup taster between courses. I absolutely loved it. When we were there, a wedding party took over half the restaurant, and this really added to the atmosphere. We will definitely return. It is highly recommended, go soon!

I work opposite to the restaurant and am an Indian by background. I dislike most Indian restaurants in London as they are not genuine and basically offer Bangladeshi cuisine rather than Indian.
However Indali Lounge is good, maybe even excellent and I look forward to going there especially as the lunch deal offers such great value (8.90 at the moment for two-courses and accompaniments like poppadoms). The food is very light and the business lunch includes soft shelled crab and prawn (normally a small fortune). Give this one a try - good value for London - nice décor, nice staff and great food.
