Indian Zing
236 King Street, London, W6 0RF
Indian Zing on King Street is the brainchild of chef proprietor Manoj Vasaikar, who trained in some of the best kitchens in both Mumbai and London, including Chutney Mary and Veeraswamy. The Indian Zing philosophy blends traditional recipes with modern techniques, using organic and free range ingredients wherever possible, to produce authentic Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist. True to its name the restaurant aims to inject some zest into jaded palates with such selections as medley of jumbo prawns and aubergine, kebab of chicken mince, asparagus, and spinach, spicy lobster balchao and flavourful gymkhana lamb chops. Artfully conceived and prepared, mussels in a tomato and tamarind broth and dumpling of banana flower and colocasia leaves in a delicate pumpkin and bottle gourd gravy go the extra mile to satisfy the appetite.Indian Zing on King Street is the brainchild of chef proprietor Manoj Vasaikar, who trained in some of the best kitchens in both Mumbai and London, including Chutney Mary and Veeraswamy. REVIEWS OF Indian Zing
Chris (16 February 2009)
This is a wonderful restaurant with good service, have been once with my friends, the food is very nice and delicious. Mr. Rahul is very nice and so is Mr.Raj, he is a very friendly and good waiter. I will definitely come back with my family and friends, because I really enjoyed the food and service.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant last night to order a take away. The staff were extremely friendly and while we waited, they brought us a complimentary fresh beetroot and banana juice to try. It was quite delicious. Our food was outstanding too - quality fresh tasting ingredients, and without the greasy after taste you get from many in the area. We particularly enjoyed the mevaari chicken, while the kawari fish curry was delectable as well. Our meal was ready to take away within twenty minutes and they included free popodums and raita with amazing mango chutney for free. I will definitely be back.
