Induz

Since 1985 Induz has been serving the residents of Sutton Coldfield and now sports a new look after a recent refurbishment. A neon-lit ceiling and trendy black seating is offset by the white walls and minimalist furnishings. On the food side the kitchen combines customary techniques with a touch of novelty.

So expect to find modhu lamb infused with honey, sweet mango and mint, slowly cooked with baby potatoes, and the succulent chicken silsila barbecued with onions, tomatoes and peppers, cooked with mushrooms and green herbs and served on a bed of noodles, alongside traditional dishes cooked balti, rogan josh or korma style amongst others.

Main courses of king prawn masala roasted in a clay oven and cooked in mild spices with a touch of butter, fresh cream and nuts, and the fiery white jalfrezi of chicken fillets simmered with yogurt, green herbs, onions and fresh chillies could be preceded by starters of salmon tikka or garlic mussels.
