Your Reviews of Inn on the Loch

Alan H (2 September 2008)

It may be a great location but it still leaves a lot to be desired. The service was very poor and it took nearly 30 minutes for the first course to turn up, then nearly 50 minutes between the first and second courses. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The staff could only tell us the basic ingredients of the meals and didn't seem to know much about the menu at all. They knew absolutely nothing about the wine list. Any questions we asked had to be constantly referred to someone hidden away somewhere before we could get an answer. Overall, the food was okay, but only on the upper end of ‘pub grub’ standard. This is certainly not the place to go if you want to impress someone.

Jennifer Black (30 September 2006)

Lovely meal - there was a chicken dish with mashed potatoes that was beautifully prepared and presented. The cream sauce with the chicken was mouth watering and the mashed potatoes were just perfect as well. It has been a few months since I was last there but I do still consider it one of the best meals I’ve had.
