Itsu - Chelsea Description

Founded by Julian Metcalfe of 'Prêt à Manger' fame, Itsu was an instant success when it opened in 1997, giving fast food Japanese style a good name, as the quality level of their food has always been excellent, particularly the sushi and sashimi, hence the fact that they won Time Out Oriental restaurant of the Year. Fans praise the careful preparation, attractive appearance of the dishes and the freshness of the fish. Given that it is in a pricey part of Chelsea, it also represents very good value. In addition to the hectic restaurant the recently refurbished bar offers an alternative to sit back and enjoy a unique itsu cocktail, whilst there is sake, good fruit drinks and some wines from £12.50.
