Jacoby's Description
Jacoby's opened in April 2002 in the historic Churchgate House in the centre of Ware. The building dates back to the 16th century and is Ware's second oldest building. The restaurant is situated on two floors and is entirely non-smoking in the dining areas.
The menu changes regularly taking inspiration from home and around the world. Dishes are designed to suit all tastes, appetites and pockets and adjust to include seasonal produce and trends. Fresh produce is at the heart of the cooking which has been described as classical in its preparation with a modern twist.

My partner and I went to Jacoby's for lunch on a weekday. We found the special lunch of poor quality - the salad and breads were not particularly fresh, the courses served were dated in presentation and quite bland in taste. However, the waiting staff and the interiors were good.

I love this restaurant and never had a bad meal there. The manager and staff are very friendly. We went there for Easter lunch and I had the chunky vegetable soup and the roast beef followed by Eton mess. The food was served hot and without delay. We had plenty to drink as well and the house red was great. I recommend this place.
