Jam Factory, The Description

The Jam Factory is one of Oxford's true gems - an art centre, restaurant, and bar - situated in the historical former premises of Frank Cooper's Marmalade Factory in the west end of Oxford.

Consider visiting the Factory to enjoy mouth watering English and modern British cuisine; if you love art stop over at the exhibition area or participate in an art class or workshop.

The relaxed and welcoming restaurant offers a lunchtime menu that features a range of sandwiches, soups, and salads while the á la carte menu reflects local, seasonal availability wherever possible. Starters consist of smoked ham hock terrine with apple chutney, and peppered smoked mackerel pate with oatcakes, while mains encompass free-range chicken supreme stuffed with chorizo and spinach, homemade Angus burger, and pan-fried duck breast with olive oil mash, oven-roasted tomato and char-grilled aubergines.

The bar stocks bottled lagers and wines from around the world, and offers the locally brewed Cotswold Lager on draught from the Cotswold Brewing Company.
