We ate at Jamies on Thursday evening and managed to get a table straight away. The food was outstanding, the service was brilliant and the waitresses were smiling and helpful. I ordered spag bol, small portion, wished I had ordered large as it was so good. My husband ordered roast pumpkin risotto which was absolutely delicious. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. We were in Oxford for three nights and ate in a different restaurant each night. Nothing came anywhere near Jamies. Well done to the staff in creating a lovely, busy atmosphere. Please open one in Yorkshire too.

What a lovely place - in centre of Oxford and we went to celebrate a special occasion - we were not disappointed. Gorgeous food, especially the spaghetti Bolognese, which I tried and savoured every mouthful. It was one of those meals you don't want to end. Excellent service and help with choosing wines to go with the meal. Yes, quite pricey, but well worth it. Just don't like the queue to get in, but that says a lot really - everyone who loves and appreciates good food, good wine and good atmosphere wants to eat there. It’s 100% recommended.
