Janito Restaurant
St Johns Way, Knowle, Solihull, B93 OJU
Perched in a side street off Knowle High Street, Janito is a refreshing find that offers a relaxed dining experience in a modern setting which is reminiscent of Italian coffee shops. They provide the best of Mediterranean style cuisine spread over a frequently updated à la carte menu and great value set menus. The service is warm and friendly and Head Chef Jacqui Deacon will be happy to accommodate any special requirements. Begin with the smoked bacon, roasted butternut squash and thyme risotto, followed by the braised blade of beef with bourguignon sauce and garlic roasted mash. If there's room for sides, go for the courgette fritters or Greek salad. Alternately, you could pop in sometime for a pastry or coffee and enjoy the same attention to detail that goes into the elaborate main courses.Perched in a side street off Knowle High Street, Janito is a refreshing find that offers a relaxed dining experience in a modern setting which is reminiscent of Italian coffee shops. REVIEWS OF Janito Restaurant
Angela (23 July 2009)
This was our first visit to Janito and we had a set meal, which was lovely. My husband is a vegetarian and for a set meal there was a lovely choice. My meal was cooked to perfection, the house wine was of good quality, the service was excellent and décor was very pleasing.
