Jazz After Dark Description

Jazz After Dark is one of Soho's best-loved live jazz venues located on Greek Street. The club features a great range of jazz musicians and vocalists and to enhance your enjoyment there's also a good choice of food. Choose from either the set menu priced at £10.95 per person, which gets you a meal such as crispy coated Camembert, followed by baked salmon with lobster sauce, with hot pancake with maple syrup for dessert. Otherwise their brasserie menu features the likes of pepper steak or roast rack of lamb for just £8. Alternatively there's also a popular range of tapas dishes and whilst the food here might not be true gourmet stuff, it's appetising enough and with the live jazz it makes for a great party too.

We work close by to Jazz after Dark so it is our regular meeting place. Early evening it is usually quite but always a great place for cocktails and tapas. As the night goes on anything can happen, and you can spot the celebrities with a queue of paparazzi flashing their cameras, regulars there are Pete Doherty, Amy Winehouse, Peaches Geldof and Kate Moss, they go there to order oil portraits from Sam the owner. Jazz after Dark is our favourite bar-jazz club in Soho.

I finally got to go to this cosy restaurant and jazz club on Saturday night. I’d tried a few times before, but it’s always fully booked at the weekend. It was a great night -better than I expected. It had great food, great cocktails and a brilliant band. The staff are friendly and helpful too. It is worth booking in advance.
