JB's Restaurant & Bar Description

The Victoria Park Plaza's modern European restaurant and bar known as JB's, is named JB in honour of Queen Victoria's friend and confidante John Brown, as played by Billy Connolly in the hit film Mrs Brown. Starters include wonderfully fresh minestrone of spring vegetables and salad nicoise with seared blue fin tuna. Tempting main course options vary from saddle of rabbit with pumpkin muffin or escalope of mozzarella on herb risotto, to great fish dishes including char-grilled sea bass with spring onions and acacia honey or roasted red mullet with braised fennel. The pick of the desserts though has to be the cinnamon and peach brûleé.
