Jee Cee Neh

74 Burlington Road, New Malden, KT3 4NU

Jee's, is just one of a number of Korean restaurants in the New Malden area, thanks to a strong local Korean population. This particular restaurant though is one of the most popular of its kind thanks to exceptionally good cooking. It isn't much to look at but with food like this and low prices no one seems to worry too much. On the menu you'll find plenty of spicy chilli based recipes and a good mixture of meat, vegetable and fish dishes. It certainly pays to be a little experimental at Jee's so be sure to try some of the more unusual dishes, or alternatively plump for a set menu option to avoid the hassle of choosing for yourself. REVIEWS OF Jee Cee Neh

Littlelaura (31 January 2008)

I was dying to eat Korean food last weekend, but was worried that I visited New Malden at mid day on a Sunday, and panicked that most places will be shut- they were, but Jee's was open and after reading their inviting menu we decided to eat there.

From the moment we walked in, the waitress was attentive and polite and quickly brought us some complimentary tea. After giving us enough time to choose, we ordered our food , and it was brought to us super quick , and it was really nice to be given the complimentary side dishes of kimchis, potato salad, mushrooms etc. Usually in Korean restaurants in Central London, these are not free with your meal.

The food was cooked to perfection, and we were not left waiting around for long at all. T he waitress stirred my bibimbap, rice in hot stone bowl perfectly, so that everything was well mixed. My boyfriend and I fought with each other over who would have the last dumpling. I highly recommend them, as well as the free namul. We also received free soup and cutely sliced orange for dessert.

The chicken bulgogi was gorgeous, and spicy rice cakes were yummy too. I cannot find any fault with this place. The food was speedy, delicious, reasonable and the service was outstanding. The restaurant was not too busy and we felt like we had the place almost to ourselves.

I don't fancy looking for another Korean restaurant the next time I visit, as Jee's was perfect and has now become one of my favourites. I highly recommend to a fan of Korean food or to anyone looking to try something new. The waitresses will help you as much as you need it. I can't wait to return.
