Jericho's restaurant, now relocated at the Waverley is a beautiful place, contemporarily decorated and thoroughly relaxing. When the place is busy, the atmosphere is electric. The food is consistently beautiful and service, exemplary. Rated as one of the best restaurants in the Lake District, I recommend this place as it represents everything that's good about a high class evening out in good company.

All I can say is that this is probably the best meal we have had since we were married ten years ago and we have eaten in many places. Including my husband living in Belgium for a year. The food was cooked to perfection, the presentation was fantastic as well as the mixture of flavours.

The staff were very polite and obliging without being overpowering. Our table was booked for 8.45pm and we left the restaurant at 12.20am. Even though we were the last people there (ourselves and another couple that we met in restaurant) the waiter kept asking whether we wanted anything else. They did not make us feel uncomfortable because by that time it was pretty obvious that they wanted to close.

A small thing but this showed dedication to providing an excellent service. The waiter kept checking if we needed more hot bread rolls before the starter came. All I can say is that after having one of these you could easily keep eating them all night. They were fantastic. Meal for two inc two bottles of wine and few whiskies came to approx £100.00.

We are already discussing when we will go back to Windermere just so we can visit this restaurant again. Top marks to the chef. Food is out of this world.
