The smell of freshly brewed coffee wafts up invitingly as you step into the restaurant. Housed in an impressive stone building with two bars, a mezzanine and two upper floors, Joe Daflo's is an ideal venue for large gatherings, a relaxed meal with friends or even a quiet, intimate dinner. The polished stairway lends the restaurant a dignified air while the elegant alcoves, burnished beams, touches of leather and wood work complement the light summery colour of the walls. The subtle lighting and potted plants complete the picture.

Joe Daflos's restaurant is open from midday until 9.00 pm Monday to Thursday and until 9.30pm on Frdays and Saturdays. The bar stays open until 11pm Monday to Saturday. Sit inside or bask in the warm sun enjoying a hearty meal that can include soup of the day, pastas and steak. Some favourites are fried chorizo, swordfish and a delicious corn fed chicken and risotto dish. If you wish to have a light bite, pick from a range of sandwiches and salads. No meal there is complete without trying out the delicious creme brulee or the rich chocolate grenache torte.

Joe Daflo's offers some great cocktails, spirits and an eclectic choice of world wines. These are personally selected by well known wine shipper Justerini and Brooks and are tastefully displayed in floor to ceiling wine racks. Their beverage section is generous too, and has a variety of coffee and herbal teas and the ultimate indulgence - hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows.

A great atmosphere, excellent food and caring service, make Joe Daflo's a regular destination for many guests. The biggest advantage is the fact that theatre goers can opt for a set meal, have two or three courses beforehand and have the convenience of returning to have a relaxing drink after the show. The restaurant is an ideal pre-theatre dining option for those coming from near and far.
