Joe Daflo's

The smell of freshly brewed coffee wafts up invitingly as you step into the restaurant. Housed in an impressive stone building with two bars, a mezzanine and two upper floors, Joe Daflo's is an ideal venue for large gatherings, a relaxed meal with friends or even a quiet, intimate dinner. The polished stairway lends the restaurant a dignified air while the elegant alcoves, burnished beams, touches of leather and wood work complement the light summery colour of the walls. The subtle lighting and potted plants complete the picture.

Joe Daflo's is open from midday until 9.30 pm and offers general fare, that can be had any time of the day, or speciality menus at lunch and dinner. Sit inside or bask in the warm sun enjoying a hearty meal that can include soup of the day, pasta, steak or the main course. Some favourites are fried chorizo, pan fried pork, croustade with vegetables and creamy pesto and parmesan penne. If you wish to have a light bite, pick from a range of sandwiches and salads. No meal there is complete without trying out the delicious passion fruit cheesecake or the rich chocolate pecan nut tart.

Joe Daflo's offers some great cocktails, spirits and an eclectic choice of world wines. These are personally selected by well known wine shipper Justerini and Brooks and are tastefully displayed in floor to ceiling wine racks. Their beverage section is generous too, and has a variety of coffee and herbal teas and the ultimate indulgence - chocolate with cream and marshmallows or orange liqueur.

A great atmosphere, excellent food and caring service, make Joe Daflo's a regular destination for many guests. The biggest advantage is the fact that theatregoers can opt for a set meal, have two courses beforehand and have the convenience of returning to have dessert after the show.
