We had wonderful food in a great atmosphere with brilliant service. The wine list contains a huge selection and is well priced. The food was prompt and delicious as usual, no faults and a great selection of session appropriate vegetables and game. We did not feel rushed by the staff at all, as you may feel in other high turnover restaurants, and we made a brilliant Sunday afternoon out of it. A great place to visit, and two thumbs up.

Used to be really good this place. The food is still good but the service is terrible and I'm not the only one who has experienced this. I have spoken to a few others in the past year who have had similar experiences to my last visit here.

The waiter who I assumed was a young student but whom I was informed later was the new Manager completely messed up our fairly simple order and then disappeared leaving us to another very overworked waiter who did his best. The kitchen staff were apparently short also.

The food was good - it usually is but we ended up all eating at different times because of the delays. No real apologies and no deduction from the bill.

Go but expect long waits and make sure the waiter gets your order right. Service has never been their strong point.
