Jones' Restaurant & Bar Description
Leicester's bars and restaurants are popular among locals and students alike. The family run Jones' Restaurant and Bar offers customers three floors of fun and relaxation in Narborough Road and since they remain open until 1:00am, you can while away entire evenings there.
The bar area is spread over two floors and offers tasty eats to complement three lagers, two ales, speciality cocktails and a range of spirits.
The restaurant menu focuses on presenting diners with a range of reasonably priced dishes, all created from fresh, local produce whenever possible. Early birds start their day by taking advantage of the popular and wholesome breakfasts. Expect to see diners enjoying pasta, risotto and bowls of fresh mussels at lunchtime and in the evening.
The huge windows in the dining area look over Braunston Gate and you could visit them at any time of the day and take pleasure in both the food and the view.

This restaurant and bar is a welcome addition to Braunstone Gate. I have been to the one on Queens’ Road, and it is one of my favourites, but with the added addition of a bar I can enjoy the whole evening in one place. The food is excellent, and the quality high with fantastic prices. The restaurant has huge windows one can look out of, and can be very romantic. As I had never eaten at Jones I must recommend it to everyone. I love the huge bowls of mussels, and I have always been a fan of the rib eye steak, which just melts in your mouth. They also have a great selection of wines, which are nicely priced. The ones which are from a better region have a higher quality, and are priced higher. If you are having desserts opt for the taster. It was delicious with five different desserts on one plate. I also noticed a lot of people eating at the bar, and later found out that they offer two for £10.00 pasta menus, and other various delights. It is great for me to have a pint, and pasta after work. To all those who live in the area do go, and try the place.
