Jury's Food and Drink

Somewhere among the crop of restaurants on Lincoln Avenue sits Jury's Food and Drink, the second venture of Pete Borkman and Dan Borchers who brought Jury Room to Chicago in 1979. In the centre of the room is a Chicago-style bar evoking images of its previous role as a neighborhood tavern.

At first, steak cut onion rings and lightly breaded chicken tenders with honey mustard and BBQ sauce might vie for attention, and for the main affair it could be a broiled Norwegian salmon fillet brushed with melted lemon caper butter and centre cut pork chops. The intermingling of flavors of their signature burger, 'the judge', is impressive, with cheddar cheese, bacon, sliced avocado and raw onion, Roma tomatoes and Romaine lettuce, while the Harrington's corned beef sandwich also proves to be a tough competitor to satisfy your taste buds.
