Kanteen at K West Hotel & Spa

Kanteen is the new restaurant at design hotel K West in Shepherd's Bush. The sleek style and funky music has made it a welcome edition to the London restaurant scene.

The food style, created by Executive Chef Stephen Spooner is modern eclectic, and the dishes on the menu are simply cooked and flavoursome. Nowhere is this better illustrated than with the desserts, which include panacotta and lemon tart. With main courses, the roast breast of duck and confit of chicken are particularly good, and portions are generous.

The decor is super cool and sets a trendy tone for the restaurant. Kanteen features leather seating, light wood flooring, dark wood tables and coloured lighting under the banquet seating. You could not ask for more from the service, which is efficient and friendly.
