The Karachi fights a tough battle in a city not exactly under-endowed with Indian restaurants, and comes out smelling of, well, shall we say aromatic rice? Its many fans, amongst whom Rick Stein is rumoured to be numbered, constantly write in extolling the wonderful food, the incredibly low prices and the constant buzz. Though one disloyal fan once muttered about the toilets and there is talk of changes at the top reflecting adversely down the line. Let's hope this is not true and that Karachi can hold its own with the rest.Indian

We went yesteday 26th October after promising to go for years but never did. there were 5 of us and the food was fab never seen such a large chicken tika starter before in my life. The food came out fast and hot. Took our own wine and had a really good night. Dont need the usual rice and nan breads like you do in most restaurants as you get plenty to eat. Shame they only take cash and not cards as we have to go find a cash machine but it didnt spoil the night

We eat there regularly, the place is basic but clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the prices are superb........oh and the food is to die for! Well worth a visit, of course it wont be to everybody's taste but then what is ?? It certainly is to ours 10/10
