Kathton House Restaurant Description

Nestling in Sturry Village High Street, Kathton House boasts upmarket, contemporary eating in an intimate Grade II listed building; at the centre of the operation is chef/proprietor Neil Evans, who is no stranger to the art of fine food. He has worked in some of London's top hotels and was sous chef at The Ritz at one time; together with his wife Gina they have come up with a formula to delight diners.

The couple are careful to buy as many of their ingredients as they can, availability and quality permitting, from local producers and pride themselves on making bread rolls, ravioli, sorbets and ice creams, all in-house. They also have a cosy overnight letting room available, with en-suite facilities.

Kathton House is open for lunch, dinner and morning coffee Tuesday to Saturday. The set lunch menu is available for £15 for two courses or £18 for three, while the evening dinner menu is £28 for two courses or £34.50 for three; both are changed regularly.

Your Reviews of Kathton House Restaurant

Cate (10 September 2009)

I have eaten there many times, both lunch, which is excellent value, and evening. The food, which is sourced locally and freshly prepared, is always delicious. The service is exceptional and there is a good quality wine list. Try it, you won't regret it.
