REVIEWS OF Kayal - Nottingham

steve (15 January 2013)

. I bumped into the manager in the local pub and he told me about Kayal and we decided to go as I love south Indian food. The whole place is fantastically laid out, it's very unusual and different from the rest of India, comfortable and the food has always been fantastic as has the service. I have been a few times now and from day one they have been very nice to us and now shake hands and welcome us personally when we arrive!.The prices are good and the mains are all lovely (Be aware you will need a side with the crab thoran). The Tilapia pollichathu I had been amazing and was so well cooked I still think about it to this day! It was that good! I have travelled all over India eating and the food in my local village beats it all. I went last week and we had a starter each, a main, shared a dessert, I had 3 pints and my fiancee had 3 vodka and cokes and the bill was £45.00. Excellent value!

I have recommened Kayal to my family and friends and most have now been at least once and all have been very impressed!!!

Today we went again to Kayal and had a fantastic meal. We thought it was the best romantic restaurant in town. The Valentine menu was fabulous, we had mix strter and the salmon and chicken for mains. Great experience and we will be back
