Kaye Arms

The Kaye Arms can be found in Wakefield Road, Grange Moor, not far from Dewsbury, in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. This pleasant hideaway is situated in an old coaching inn that provides a relaxed setting for a good meal with friends, colleagues or the family.

Owners Paul and Helen Andrews ensure tasty dishes and good wine are always available. Not surprising that the pub has been included in the Good Food Guide for the last seven years.

Stop by for a light lunch or a full meal of food that is created using local produce; expect to find dishes ranging from trio of salmon, and pan-seared scallops, to mature cheddar cheese soufflé with homemade bread, and roast pigeon breast with braised lentils and cranberry compote.

Mains could include fillet steak served with fondant potato, celeriac purée, baby carrots and a red wine jus, confit shoulder of lamb, and grilled fillet of sea bass with roasted provençale vegetables.

The rhubarb crumble and dark chocolate tart with hazelnuts and clotted cream is hard to resist.
