Your Reviews of Kayla Brasserie

Geoff & Jane (17 July 2009)

Well done to all the Staff at Kayla! We dined at Kayla last weekend for our anniversary and we both had a wonderful time. Having arrived wet and damp from a dismal evening rainfall we were given a warm welcome and slightly concerned as there was one hen party already at full swing and another row of tables ready for the next. A recipe for disaster you would think, but the girls were pretty well behaved and more to the point, the food was absolutely fabulous. The servings were on the large side, but this was probably the best Italian food we've ever had, quite a feat when you also consider that we holidayed in Sorrento last year! We would highly recommend Kayla, and will be definitely returning, well worth the 1 hour journey to get there for us!

The first thing to mention about the Kayla Brasserie is the staff. They are welcoming and freindly and made my visit very enjoyable. The food was excellent too, I had the pizza and I must say it is clear that they were prepared fresh as advertised. I went to Venice in March and I couldn't tell the difference between Kayla's pizza and the one's I had in Italy. My girlfriend had one of the chicken dishes and she also commented on how nice the whole thing was. I don't have a sweet tooth but I am a coffee addict, I tried one of their fresh ground Latte's while my girlfriend was tucking into some Italian ice cream, 'Starbuck's eat your heart out' - I have been back just for coffee since. Overall I would say for the money I paid I cannot fault it. The service deserved five stars as did the food. I will certainly be returning.
