I am a bit of a foodie and am thrilled to discover that Cowley Road is where I'm going to be living. As of October I'll be living in foodie heaven. I've been twice to Kazbah for some awesome authentic Spanish tapas. I can't say the names but we had about fifteen little dishes on our table and two real Spanish friends. The music was chill - Andalusia hippy rock. I loved the mojitos as well.

I went to Kazbah on a friend's recommendation and it was brilliant. Moroccan tiles, lanterns, big authentic cushions, a solid wood bar, a dangling guitar by the front door, which swings up and down as the door is opened, jamon and garlic cloves hanging by the kitchen area and very friendly staff. The food is all tapas and ranges from about £2.50 - £4 per dish; and it's worth every penny. I had patatas chorizo and albondigas, beef meatballs in spicy tomato sauce, and my boyfriend had merguez, spicy sausages with tzaztziki, and couscous. We were encouraged to take a basket of bread to soak up the juices and it was good advice. It’s a great place and we're grateful to have it on Cowley Road. Rock the Kazbah!
