Keepers Description

I suppose it is partly a quirk of the geographical location that makes the cellar so much a feature of Edinburgh houses, particularly in the New Town. And some very cosy little nooks they tend to make, not least at Keepers, one of the better kept culinary secrets of Edinburgh, where a series of romantically-lit cellars join together. Scottish produce features strongly and dishes of beef, salmon and game regularly delight. However, the piece de resistance is generally reckoned to be the saddle of rabbit accompanied by an outstanding vermouth and truffle sauce.
