Khan's of Kensington Description
This longstanding, successful, small restaurant is situated near to South Kensington Tube Station, and is normally described by its many supporters as being a thoroughly reliable standby. If you want a tasty, reasonably priced Indian meal and can't think of where to go, then you can always count on Khan's.
In the event that this description sounds a bit negative, then it shouldn't, as this civilised and hospitable place offers a really excellent variety of delicate Indian dishes at sensible value-for-money prices. However, like so many Indian spots, the décor has little to recommend it, but, with traditional watercolours on the walls, the ambience is pleasant, though not special.

I went there with family and friends for a quiet meal and it clearly was a big disappointment. The restaurant is very cramped and feels like they have tried to squish more people by ‘squeezy’ table arrangements. The food is okay and not as superb as the price and does not keep up with the rest of the eat-ins in the same area. The noise level is too high maybe due to a very close kitchen or too many people. I won't go there again.
