Khushi's Restaurant

I recently went to Khushi’s after reading the menu put up at the entrance; we saw that they also served authentic Indian pav bhaji and other fast food. When we went in we were told that we would have to vacate the table by 7.15pm i.e. in an hour. Then when we ordered the pav bhaji and they said it’s only served during lunchtime, which was not mentioned in the menu downstairs otherwise we wouldn’t have bothered to come up. So we thought we might just order something as only two among the four of us were really hungry. But to our shock the waiter said that the manager says we have to order at least four main courses. We were shocked, firstly we had to eat within an hour and then they want us to order at least a main course per head. We’ve never heard of such rules, so we had a word with the manager, who was not very helpful, and walked out. On the way out we met another couple who were shocked and stunned by the treatment meted out by the manager.

We never got to sample the food as our group of seven arrived only to be told that they didn’t have a record of our reservation. The host was less than sympathetic and when questioned if they may have made the reservation for the wrong night, he responded with 'we don’t make mistakes'. As it was a busy Saturday, we didn’t expect to be seated but his attitude towards us was less than professional. We will not be trying to book there again.
