Steeped in history, The King William Restaurant which was a refectory for the Greenwich pensioners originally, has come to be used as a venue for dining and entertainment since the 1750's. Located in the undercroft of the Painted Hall within the Old Royal Naval College, the restaurant is elegant and visually stunning, serving a wide range of British cuisine that is delicious and contemporary. Catered to by the Leiths catering company, the food served is scrumptious and affordable consisting of classic English dishes served by staff that are experienced and efficient. These include ballotine of turkey served with chateau potatoes; roast belly pork spiced with boulangere potatoes and red apple cabbage; and smoked and poached salmon terrine with a horseradish crème fraîche.
