King William IV is a cosy pub on a hill with some gorgeous views of the Mole Valley. Starters of king scallops seared and served on towers of crayfish in Italian tomato sauce do very well indeed. Vegetarians can enjoy a tartlet of creamy brie and fresh leeks baked in a pastry case topped with toasted almonds while main courses include a Scottish fillet steak pan fried in olive oil and served with green peppercorn sauce. For dessert there's a delectable fruit crumble and wines, beers and ales accompany the meals superbly.
