Kosmos Taverna Description
Nowadays one might say this is a themed restaurant but that would be misleading. It is a series of parts skilfully assembled and complementing each other, including the décor, the diverse menu, the warm-hearted Loulla Astin, your chef-patronne and the fact that once they have found a good thing they resist the temptation to muck it about - and lose it. Three mezethes menus, meat, fish and vegetarian, all of which are delicious, support the adventurous main menu. Wine list is Greek and Cypriot with retsina and house wines at £12 a litre.

Having eaten at Kosmos on a Wednesday evening, I wish to thank the staff and chef for a wonderful arrangement of various meals for my group of 20 people. I would love to come to this restaurant whenever I am back in Manchester.

I would love to tell you how good the food was, unfortunately, as we were left waiting in our seats for thirty minutes without even being offered a drink, I can't. I complained on the way out but wasn't even offered an apology, so will not be eating there again!
