I could not disagree more with the previously submitted review. One cannot expect available tables in such an excellent restaurant on an important family day. I have been to this restaurant previously with my lovely young family and have been most impressed by the quality of food and excellent service.

I took the family for Mother’s Day - a very busy day but also a special occasion. We had a 20 minute wait for a table with three different servers, a table for seven laid for four, missed drinks and no general tapas. I asked thrice and got a general feeling of not being too welcome. A Spanish table next to ours also seems unimpressed. The food was good - although far from generous for the price. I elected not to pay the ten per cent added to the bill and had actually thought they might notice we'd had a bad experience and suggest a fix.

Therefore, in summary, at a less busy time if you just want food without atmosphere, this might be acceptable - for me, there is far too much good competition locally.
