La Gran Tortuga Description

La Gran Tortuga, or the great turtle in Spanish, has been a classic and fashionable venue for the last thirty years. They offer a high level of service, prompted by delectable cuisine and exquisite views from the tables. Agustín Duran and Antonio Soriano have managed the place with great care and dedication. Antonio continues to prepare classic dishes such as caldereta de langosta or lobster casserole, and fresh fish oven-baked in salt. His son Javier creates delicacies with a modern and innovative touch. The result is an extensive and surprising menu. You can dine on the terrace facing the sea and enjoy impressive scenery. The restaurant was awarded the first prize in the national competition of Mediterranean Tapas.
