La Piazza

Whether the name is an indication of the restaurant's location on Cedar Square is anyone's guess, but one thing is for sure, La Piazza has worked on building a reputation for serving quality Italian food in the Blackpool area. Spread over two floors, the setting is uncontrived and bedecked in a traditional Italian style.

The menu treads the familiar Italian route; deep fried whitebait, spare ribs in a tangy barbeque sauce, and chicken wings with onion chilli and white wine, followed by shallow fried chicken with a touch of spicy tomato sauce, and strips of beef with onions, cayenne pepper, tomato and mushrooms, finished with brandy and cream. Grilled meats like minute, sirloin or fillet steak are accompanied by fresh vegetables and potatoes, and there are more than enough pizza and pasta options at prices that are easy on the wallet. For a good evening out at La Piazza finish with an enjoyable espresso or cappuccino, accompanied by a smooth Vecchia Romagna, or Amaretto with ice.
