Open seven days a week, the restaurant specialises in culinary delights of the old French colonies in the southern part of the country. From the kitchens of Pondicherry enjoy starters of soft shell crabs with garlic and black pepper, curry puffs with lamb and green peas or a salad of mixed leaves, tomatoes, mushrooms, banana flower and strips of chicken breast. Main course dishes include prawns simmered in a mild coconut curry with green mangoes, turmeric, chillies and ginger, stir fried beef tenderloin with roasted cinnamon, aniseed, cloves, black pepper and coconut chips and pork vindaloo. Tasting platters offer options of tandoori mixed grill, seafood and more, curry and tandoor and vegetarian. The meal comes to a climax with the Goan bebinca, a warm spiced layered cake.
