Lal Akash Description
As a typical curry house you can expect a warm welcome at Lal Akash and a good range of food but without any surprises or individuality. Its close vicinity to the station makes it a popular choice and its rich red painted frontage and canopy certainly make it noticed and help to draw in passing trade. The familiar menu lists starters such as samosas, prawn puree and skeek kebab, followed by mains such as tandoori and tikka specialities, baltis and its so called hall of fame specialities, which include a hot and fiery Nepal kalio and for those after something a little more healthy, the very generous Lal Akash salad. They also offer a takeaway service for those preferring to dine at home.

Lal Akash is one of the best Indian restaurants in the London area. I have been eating there for the past ten years now and have brought friends from North London as well. We all agree that the food is consistently excellent and the members of staff are polite and helpful. It's fantastic value for money too.
