A large and pleasant air-conditioned curry house, definitely not one of the 'never mind about the outside, it's ok inside' brigade. There is the customary range of dishes, plus some, served with the confidence of those who know they are doing it right. For this you will pay perceptibly more than in other Indians; I can only assure you that, as so often, it is worth every penny. It would be difficult, as well as rather ungracious, to point to a predominant regional trend, and if there is a tendency to try and be all things to all people we only have ourselves to blame. Proprietor Salim, if not besieged by customers, can often be prevailed upon to demonstrate some of the skills he acquired to become a member of the Magic Circle.
