Lamberts Description

Lamberts is named after owner Joe Lambert who has set up this friendly restaurant in Balham to offer top quality food in relaxed surroundings. It's one of those sought after local restaurants where you know you're guaranteed a good meal and a really warm welcome.

The menu is short but varied and encompasses hearty dishes such as guinea fowl, roasted jerusalem artichokes, smoked bacon and a tarragon cream sauce or British saddleback loin, belly and trotter with kale, mash and apple, whilst desserts range from lemon and pecan posset pie with lime syrup, to a simple but delicious creamy rice pudding. Expect to pay around £15 to £17 per main course dish and definitely take advantage of the interesting wine list that starts from £15.
