Lambs at the Market is a family-run restaurant situated in a historic Grade II listed building on the outskirts of Mansfield town centre. The peaceful setting provides a laid back dining experience, and soft lighting and soothing music lend itself to the relaxing atmosphere. Head Chef and joint-owner Troy Lamb is a big advocate of local produce. The menu, therefore, makes use of local ingredients to serve seasonal and daily changing modern British dishes. A less formal menu is offered at lunchtime while in the evening it steps up a notch to offer a more sophisticated experience. Mains embrace roast chicken breast with smoked bacon butterbeans and wild mushroom cream, and chump of lamb, braised puy lentils, and honeyed swede puree. Speciality menus and a homemade traditional Sunday roast make dining all the more enjoyable.

A sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce celebrates all things British, while a varied wine list and more exclusive cellar have something for everyone.
