Langan's Bistro

Langan's Bistro on Devonshire Street has been around since the early 1960s serving a mixture of English and French cuisine. The restaurant hasn't changed much over the years so expect traditional dishes in a slightly dated but comfortable setting. However, having said that regulars love the familiar surroundings and are safe in the knowledge that they'll always get an excellent meal and great service at this friendly little eatery.

It provides some excellent value for money with its fixed price two or three-course menu in the Anglo/French style of cuisine. For starters you might try Goose Liver & Tarragon Parfait or Smoked Trout Mousse with Horseradish Cream. Then you can follow up with a delicious Main Course such as Steamed Supreme of Brill with Lime & Ginger Sauce or Coq au Vin. And if you still have room, why not try one of their irresistible desserts such as Poached Plums with Vanilla Sabayon or the infamous Mrs Langan's Chocolate Pudding.
