Traveler (27 July 2009)

Went to Minnesota from Arizona for a funeral, stayed at Super 8 in Pipestone, I was with some family that had grown up in Pipestone and the first meal we had was at Langes. The meals are large and unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the sour cream raisin pie, but it sure did look good. The hash browns I had today before flying back to Arizona were humongous. They were about 4 inches thick, 6 inches long and 4 inches wide, served with fresh bacon gravy with two slices of Langes special smoked bacon, a sausage link and fresh bread toast. All I can say is if you are in the area, even if you don’t stop by Langes for a meal, they are open 24 hours and serve breakfast throughout the 24 hours. Don't forget to stop by the Pipestone national monument to work off some of that great food and then go back and eat some pie.
