Located in what was previously a handsome Georgian house, Langton's Brasserie and restaurant takes up some six rooms in a pleasantly linked style. The menu embraces a good variety of cuisines and whilst many of the dishes are instantly recognisable others have been given added attention which has transformed their appeal without losing faith with the original. The overall ambience is relaxed in agreeably understated surroundings with an opportunity to stretch your legs in the extensive gardens after an indulgent lunch. The wine list is distinctly challenging and deserves considerable thought. House wine is £12.55.
