Lansdowne, The Description

The Lansdowne has a bit of a split personality, as, on the ground floor, there is a busy, bustling pub, serving bar food, chalked up on a blackboard, whilst upstairs is rather a smart dining room, which is also deservedly popular as it provides decent value for money. Food is modern British with a distinct influence from the Mediterranean area, with good risottos or fish dishes. Wine list, though fairly short, is well chosen and sensibly priced.
