Las Iguanas - Milton Keynes

We visited Las Iguanas early on a Friday evening. The place was bubbly and filled up with party groups. It seems we were fortunate to get a table as we had not pre-booked. The atmosphere was lively with Latin American music, modern decor and the staff were welcoming. We chose from the early evening set menu and while the food we had was very good and freshly prepared, the main meal portion sizes were very small. We looked around at other diners plates and it seemed that it wasn't only the early menu that delivered small portions for main dishes. Watch out for the ‘add a drink for £1.50’ on the early menu as it does not mean one per diner or menu, it means one per table. If you order soft drinks I suggest you ask for it without ice as a coke consisted of a glass of ice topped up with coke. Overall we enjoyed the meal and the friendly ambience but felt it did not offer the best value for this type of eatery.
