They have beautiful food, nice relaxed surroundings and great service; it’s just a really nice place. I am not a regular but just took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Also after looking on the web I was astounded to discover that it’s actually on the site of a pub called ‘The Red Cow’ where such legendary rock bands, which I still listen to, such as AD DC The Jam and Ritual, had actually played in the seventies. Wow! It should have a blue thingy plaque on the wall or something to go and soak it up. It has a lovely bar.

Comfortable stylish pub, which can be noisy when sport is playing on TV sets. Otherwise, Latymers is often surprisingly quiet. Excellent Fullers London Pride and ESB on draught, as well as usual lagers and pub drinks.

Thai food is available in the bar or non-smoking restaurant. Prices are more like a take-away than a restaurant with main courses around a fiver. Food is excellent, whether it is a curry, stir fry or noodle dish.

Latymers is 10 minutes walk from Olympia and 30 minutes from Earls Court. It is a favourite of mine, and I live in the Midlands. Busier at lunch times than the evening.
