L'Auberge Restaurant Description

L'Auberge is a small and intimate French bistro, owned and run by chef Pascal, with the assistance of his partner Christine. You can take your pick from either the three course menu fixe, offering plenty of choice at just £15 a head, or select from their la carte menu. Starters include grilled honeyed goat cheese salad and Mediterranean prawns with ginger and white wine. Of the main courses prime fillet of Scottish beef with a wild mushroom sauce, or guinea fowl served with a memorable tarragon and pepper sauce are definitely worth sampling. As for the desserts, Pascal trained as a pastry chef so his perfect melt in the mouth pastry is only surpassed when eaten with a scoop of homemade cinnamon ice cream.
