L Autre Pied is comfortably located in the heart of Fitzrovia, handy for both business and private customers, with a décor that calms and inspires. The interior is both elegant and sophisticated with smartly dressed rosewood tables, linen napkins and wooden floors, and provides a relaxed setting for the imaginative modern British cooking on offer.

The lunch menu doubles up as a pre theatre opportunity with two or three courses. A typical meal would start with lasagne of guinea fowl, served with baby onion, belper knole, mushroom mayonnaise and celeriac foam. Follow with sika deer, smoked garlic, endive lyonnaise, shaved chestnuts, pine nut and thyme sauce, before an apple tarte fine with tonka bean ice cream. The essentially à la carte menu carries six choices in each course, each one following the uncluttered and precise format that is the basis of all L’Autre Pied's cooking.
